PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption by increasing efficiency of a laser system for generating high-power laser light at a short pulse.SOLUTION: A laser system comprises: a laser oscillator for generating pulse laser light by laser oscillation; a plurality of amplifiers being sequentially input with the pulse laser light generated by the laser oscillator and amplifying the pulse laser light; and control means for controlling the laser oscillator so as to cause burst oscillation and stopping an amplifying operation of at least one of the plurality of amplifiers in a burst stop period during burst oscillation periods. |
