PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regeneration method and a regeneration device for a power saving type lead accumulator battery, capable of suppressing energy loss generated at a discharge step carried out in regeneration processing of the lead accumulator battery.SOLUTION: A regeneration device 1 for a lead accumulator battery comprises: a charging current generator 3 generating a charging current to be applied to regeneration target accumulator batteries B1 and B2; a pulse current generator 4 generating a pulse current to be applied to the regeneration target accumulator batteries B1 and B2; a controller 12 controlling charge and discharge of the regeneration target accumulator batteries B1 and B2; a power collecting and discharging part 7; and an external power supply 8. The power collecting and discharging part 7 consists of a power storage part 6 having power storage accumulator batteries B3 and B4, and a charging and discharging circuit 5. The power collecting and discharging part 7 collects a power at discharge to store the collected power in the power storage accumulator batteries B3 and B4 when the regeneration target accumulator batteries B1 and B2 are discharged, and discharges a power to be used at charging of the regeneration target accumulator batteries B1 and B2. |
