PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine including the internal layout capable of achieving the accuracy improvement of a rotation sensor and the cooling performance improvement of an electric component.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine 1 includes: housings 7, 8; a stator 6; a rotor 4; bearings 22, 23; a strip ring 13; a power assembly 18; a control assembly 10; a rotation sensor 15; and a brush holder 14. A mounting surface of the switching element and a mounting surface of a control element of a control circuit are placed so as to be arranged in parallel with a rotation shaft. The rotation sensor 15 is placed between the rear bearing 23 and the slip ring 13. |
