PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve print image quality by improving the coloring of ink discharged onto a print medium and preventing color unevenness.SOLUTION: A printing device includes: a printing head including an achromatic nozzle line and a plurality of chromatic nozzle lines provided for each of a plurality of chromatic inks and movable along a first direction; and a transport mechanism for transporting a print medium in a second direction approximately orthogonal to the first direction. The printing head discharges the achromatic ink from the achromatic nozzle line to a common region of the print medium and also discharges the chromatic ink form one of the chromatic nozzle lines in accordance with movement. An amount of the achromatic ink discharged from the achromatic nozzle line together with the discharge of the chromatic ink discharged from a first chromatic nozzle line which discharges the brightest chromatic ink to the common region is less than the amount of the achromatic ink discharged from the achromatic nozzle line together with the discharge of the chromatic ink discharged from a second chromatic nozzle line which discharges another chromatic ink to the common region. |
