PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve storage stability of an oxyalkylene polymer (P) wherein a reactive silicon group is bonded to a polyoxyalkylene chain through a urethane bond.SOLUTION: An oxyalkylene polymer (P) is produced by subjecting a hydroxy group-containing polymer (pP) having a polyoxyalkylene chain and a hydroxy group, and an isocyanate group-containing compound (U) represented by general formula (1) below to a urethanization reaction in the presence of an iron catalyst (S) composed of iron naphthenate containing an iron (II) salt of a saturated monocarboxylic acid having a naphthene ring. In the formula, Xrepresents a 1-6C alkoxy group; Rrepresents an optionally substituted 1-20C monovalent organic group; Qrepresents a 1-20C divalent organic group; and a represents an integer of 1-3. General formula (1): (Si(-X)(-R))-Q-NCO. |
