PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathodic electrodeposition coating composition which is excellent in corrosion resistance, in particular even when a formed coating film is an electrodeposition coating film being a thin film with a dry film thickness of 15 μm and which is excellent in coating stability without using a harmful substance such as a lead compound and a chromium compound.SOLUTION: There is provided: a cathodic electrodeposition coating composition which contains an organic binder (A) containing a cationic resin (a1) and a condensation reaction product (B) of an aminosilane (b1) with a predetermined alkoxysilane compound (b2); a method for forming a coating film using the cathodic electrodeposition coating composition; and an article with an electrodeposition coating film based on the cathodic electrodeposition coating composition formed thereon. |
