A method and an apparatus for controlling interference between a macro base station and a low power node, comprising: determining users in an unbalanced area in a macro cell; sending, to the low power node, user identifiers of the users in the unbalanced area; receiving a load alarm message sent by the low power node, the load alarm message carrying the user identifiers of the users, requiring to be regulated and controlled, in the unbalanced area; and sending, to the macro base station, a down-adjusting uplink authorization message, the down-adjusting uplink authorization message carrying the user identifiers of the users, requiring to be regulated and controlled, in the unbalanced area, so as to enable the macro base station to lower uplink power for the users. The embodiments of the present invention can effectively control the interference, of the users in the unbalanced area against users in a low power cell, between the macro base station and the low power node. |
