According to the invention, narrow-band laser radiation is superimposed on the wide-band colored light that is produced using phosphor conversion and has a color of light corresponding to the phosphor used, said laser radiation having the same color of light. This makes it possible to obtain a high luminous flux and high luminance for the respective color of light, which are properties required especially for projection applications. For example, narrow-band red laser radiation (r) is simultaneously superimposed, in an optical integrator (10), on the wide-band red light produced by a red phosphor (31) that is irradiated using a blue-violet laser (5). |
