The present invention relates to a technology providing an object rearing game. A method for rearing an object performed by an apparatus providing an object rearing game includes generating an object in a game by interworking with an application installed in the apparatus; and rearing according to an extent of using the application. According to the present invention, the method lets users rear an object in a game by using applications in the apparatus, not repeating simple game operations, thereby activating the applications since the applications are used many times by the users.
