The objective lens has an inner pole shoe (111) and an outer cone shaped pole shoe (112) with a coil (118) located in between that has a 2A current capacity. Within the gap between the pole shoes the magnetic field is at a maximum and this has a bell shaped distribution. Located between the pole shoes is a flexible O ring seal (130). Emission pass along the optical axis and are focussed onto a surface (400). |
