<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress heating of a driver circuit in a liquid crystal display apparatus whose display area is divided into two subareas to display images and pictures in parallel in the subareas, and to prevent picture quality from deterioration. <P>SOLUTION: In a liquid crystal display apparatus, the single display area of a liquid crystal display panel is divided by a boundary line coinciding with the extending direction of scan signal lines into a first display subarea and a second display subarea; an image signal line to which TFT elements of pixels of the first display subarea are connected and another image signal line to which TFT elements of pixels of the second display subarea are connected are electrically insulated from each other; in each of the first display subarea and the second display subarea, pixels whose TFT elements are connected to one of two adjoining image signal lines and pixels whose TFT elements are connected to the other image signal line alternate each other on a plurality of pixel columns along the extending direction of the image signal line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
