PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle air-conditioning device capable of achieving a comfortable vehicle interior environment while improving gas mileage and acceleration performance of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle air-conditioning device turns on a compressor when a vehicle travels down a slope or decelerates. Even when a vehicle interior temperature exceeds a room temperature set value, if the same is not higher than an allowable upper limit value, the vehicle air-conditioning device: obtains required time from a present position to a start point of the downward slope; and, if the required time is less than a predetermined period, keeps the compressor turned off for at least the predetermined period. When the required time actually reaches the predetermined period with the compressor continued to be turned off, the vehicle air-conditioning device immediately turns on the compressor even though the vehicle does not reach the downward slope. When the vehicle interior temperature exceeds the allowable upper limit value, the vehicle air-conditioning device also immediately turns on the compressor even though the vehicle does not reach the downward slope or the required time does not reach the predetermined period. |
