PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle roller bearing device capable of improving workability of assembling a double-split cage.SOLUTION: A needle roller bearing device comprises: a needle roller bearing 2 including a cage 21 that is formed cylindrically and has pockets passing radially through the cage 21 at several circumferential locations, and a plurality of needle rollers 22 retained in respective pockets of the cage 21; and a drive shaft 3, on the outer periphery of which the needle roller bearing 2 is mounted. The cage 21 is split at two circumferential locations and has step parts 21c with reduced diameters at both axial ends. In the drive shaft 3, peripheral grooves 32, which are recessed in the outer periphery and in which the needle roller bearing 2 are mounted, are formed. On the walls at both ends of the peripheral grooves 32, tabs 31 projecting from the outer periphery of the drive shaft 3 in the radially outward direction. After the needle roller bearing 2 is mounted in the peripheral grooves 32, the tabs 31 are bent in the axially inside direction to oppose the step parts 21c, which prevents the needle roller bearing 2 to being detached. |
