PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a fuel injection device capable of properly suppressing a smoke generation amount by accurately estimating the smoke generation amount.SOLUTION: The control device of a fuel injection device 3 includes excessively-concentrated air-fuel mixture amount estimating means for estimating an excessively-concentrated air-fuel mixture amount as a fuel amount in a region where a local equivalent ratio is 1 or more, of a region including fuel spray in a cylinder, spray-containing phase volume estimating means for estimating a spray-containing phase volume as a volume of a region including the fuel spray of the whole region in the cylinder, smoke generation amount estimating means for estimating a smoke generation amount in the cylinder on the basis of the excessively-concentrated air-fuel mixture amount estimated by the excessively-concentrated air-fuel mixture amount estimating means, the spray-containing phase volume estimated by the spray-containing phase volume estimating means, and a fuel injection time period from the fuel injection device into the cylinder. The control device controls a fuel injection pressure from the fuel injection device so that the smoke generation amount estimated by the smoke generation amount estimating means is equal to a predetermined allowable upper limit value or less. |
