PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method in which a clear coating material is coated after coating a base coating material, whereafter the two coated films are cured at the same time according to a two-coat-one-bake method, and in which adhesive strength between the two coated films is increased compared to a conventional method.SOLUTION: A specific curative agent is used for a clear coating material. The curative agent contains polyisocyanate derived from 1,6-hexamethylene diisocyanate, and a coating method satisfies all of the following conditions: 1) the curative agent does not materially contain diisocyanate monomer, 2) viscosity of the curative agent is 1000 mPa s/23°C or less, 3) a percentage content of HDI trimer is 60 wt.% or more in the curative agent, and 4) a percentage content of HDI dimer is less than 10 wt.% in the curative agent. |
