PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding device capable of holding a medium member or a plant without damaging.SOLUTION: The holding device includes: a contact/separation drive part 2; a pair of flexible pieces 11 and 11; a pair of holding parts 12 and 12; a pair of holding parts 13 and 13; and a medium member M. The contact/separation drive part 2 causes the pair of flexible pieces 11 and 11 arranged opposite to each other to contact with/separate from each other. Parts facing the flexible pieces 11 and 11 are provided with the pair of holding parts 12 and 12 and the pair of holding parts 13 and 13. When the flexible pieces 11 and 11 are separated from each other, the holding parts 12 and 12 are separated from each other, and the holding parts 13 and 13 are separated from each other. The rectangular block-shaped medium member M is held between the flat holding parts 12 and 12 when the flexible pieces 11 and 11 are approached to each other. At that time, the flexible pieces 11 and 11 are sagged in the separating direction by a reaction force from the medium member M. Thus, it is suppressed that an excessively large external force is applied to the medium member M. A stem of a plant to be reaped is held between the concave holding parts 13 and 13 and cut in a cutting part. |
