PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray tube including an appropriate sealing between the components of a rotation anode X-ray tube by compact design.SOLUTION: An X-ray tube (100) generating an X-ray beam (102) includes an anode (104) mounted rotatably and generating an X-ray when exposed to an electron beam (106), a hollow space (108) in the anode (104), a cooling unit (110) for cooling the anode (104) by fluid circulation in the hollow space (108), and a vacuum pump arrangement (114, 136, 150) for generating a first vacuum (116) in the hollow space (108), and generating a second vacuum (118) of a lower pressure value than that of the first vacuum (116) in a space (112) surrounding the anode (104). The vacuum pump arrangement (114, 136, 150) includes a pump (114) disposed to form a continuous pressure gradient between the first vacuum (116) and second vacuum (118). |
