An improved cosmetics container is distinguished by the following features: - having a receptacle body (3) and a receptacle lid (1), via which an opening (3a) of the receptacle body (3) can be closed or released, - beneath the opening (3a), the receptacle body (3) comprises a cosmetics-accommodating chamber (13) for accommodating cosmetics, wherein the cosmetics-accommodating chamber (13) is bounded by an accommodating-chamber floor (15), - alongside the cosmetics-accommodating chamber (13), the cosmetics container comprises a radiation-passage chamber or a radiation-passage region, which is at least partially permeable to electromagnetic radiation in the visible range, - the radiation-passage chamber or the radiation-passage region is designed such that it comprises one or more radiation-permeable, radiation-deflecting, radiation-refracting, radiation-reflecting and/or fluorescent bodies, inclusions or devices (20, 20'), and/or - the cosmetics-accommodating chamber (13) contains cosmetics having substances and/or receptors which are additionally contained therein and can be activated and/or heated by electromagnetic radiation. |
