This invention discloses a hinge arrangement for a composite blade of a winged craft, the composite blade including first and second pivot members which are pivotally displaceable relative to each other, the hinge arrangement comprising at least two releasably interlocked ears, a first of which is connectable, or connected, to the first pivot member while the second ear is connectable, or connected, to the second pivot member thereby to permit pivotal displacement of the first and second pivot members relative to each other, the ears being characterised in that the material of construction thereof is identical to the material of construction of the first and second pivot members. The invention extends to a method of folding and unfolding a composite blade of a winged craft. |
