PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a stator coil, in which stable taking-up with a desired diameter can be performed in a take-up process for taking up a belt-like assembled body consisting of a plurality of coil wires. SOLUTION: The inventive manufacturing method of a stator coil includes: a coil wire forming step 101 for molding an electric conductor into a predetermined shape to form a plurality of coil wires 50; an assembling step 102 for assembling the plurality of coil wires 50 to form a belt-like assembled body 47; a preforming step 103 for forming the assembled body 47 in a circular arc shape over a whole length in a lengthwise direction while pressing and winding the assembled body 47 to an outer peripheral surface of a first roller 82 by a first pressing member 83, and forming the tip of the assembled body 47 in a circular arc shape in the lengthwise direction while pressing the tip of the assembled body 47 to an outer peripheral surface of a second roller 84 by a second pressing member 85; and a taking-up step 104 for taking up the assembled body 47 from the tip to a core member to form a take-up body 48.
