PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing coil assembly capable of shortening time for braiding work. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing coil assembly comprises: a first engaging step for engaging a first turn part A1 of a first coil wire 30A and a first turn part B1 of a second coil wire 30B; and a second engaging step for engaging a second turn part A2 of the first coil wire 30A and a second turn part B2 of the second coil wire 30B by moving at least either one of the first coil wire 30A or the second coil wire 30B. At the first engaging step, a start point of a braiding is made by engaging the first turn part A1 and B1 together which are at the longitudinal center part of the first coil wire 30A and the second coil wire 30B. Due to this, at a following second engaging step, it becomes possible to perform simultaneous braiding operations to two second turn parts A2, B2 at the both longitudinal sides of each first turn part A1, B1.
