PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lighting device which is capable of executing a function of a security light while restraining complication of a structure and an increase in costs of manufacturing.SOLUTION: An LED lighting device 1 switching controls lighting of an illuminating light and a security light comprises: a plurality of LEDs 3; a lighting circuit 3 which drives lighting of the plurality of LEDs 3 by supplying an output current Iout to the plurality of LEDs 3; and a control part 11b which controls a lighting circuit 5. The control part 11b controls the lighting circuit 5 so that the output current Iout of the lighting circuit 5 is controlled by a current within a first current range to emit the illuminating light from the plurality of LEDs 3 when the illuminating light is turned on, and the lighting circuit 5 is controlled so that the output current Iout of the lighting circuit 5 is controlled by a current within a second current range under the lower limit current value of the first current range and is also PWM controlled to emit the security light from the plurality of LEDs 3 when the security light is turned on. |
