PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a function equivalent to the monitoring and control function of a central monitoring terminal of a building management system for managing a building facility by a monitoring terminal installed at a distance, making it possible for a central monitor room at the site of a building facility to be unattended.SOLUTION: A remote monitoring and control system is provided with a remote monitoring terminal in which a device for processing a keyboard signal (k), a video monitor signal (V), a mouse signal (M) and an audio signal (A), which are operation signals of a central monitor terminal at the site of a building facility, is installed by the side of and connected to the central monitor terminal, thereby exchanging the operation signals of the central monitor terminal via a network. The operation signals of the central monitor terminal at the site of the building facility are all taken in by the remote monitoring terminal, and the monitoring and control functions of the central monitor terminal at the site of the building facility can be reproduced in its entirety on the remote side. Therefore, the monitoring and control operations of the central monitor terminal at the site of the building facility can be performed from a distance in entirely the same sense as performed at the site. |
