PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device capable of estimating driving conditions encountered by a vehicle so as to correspond to more various driving conditions.SOLUTION: The vehicle control device has an estimation section 20 for estimating based on state data detected by a detection section 10 driving conditions encountered by a vehicle. The estimation section 20 has an identity mapping model 21 of a neutral network and a nonlinear hierarchical model 22 of the neutral network, where respective units of an input layer and an output layer of the identity mapping model 21 are inputted with the state data as parameters, the parameters of respective units of a middle layer of the identity mapping model 21 are inputted to respective units of an input layer of the hierarchical model 22 and respective units of an output layer of the hierarchical model 22 correspond respectively to a plurality of driving conditions. Thus, based on parameters outputted to the output layer of the hierarchical model 22, a driving condition being encountered by the vehicle is estimated as one of a plurality of driving conditions. |
