PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, program, and device which searches for design variables of an article like a tire, which can satisfy given characteristics more surely than conventional arts, by using data of design variables of articles and characteristic values of articles produced on the basis of the data of design variables.SOLUTION: A data processing method includes the steps of: defining nonlinear relations between values of design variables and a characteristic value of an article; calculating a Pareto solution relating to characteristics of the article by generating a plurality of sets of trial sampling data using the defined nonlinear relations; deriving a kind of design variables contributing to variation of the characteristic value; setting again a range including the outside of a preliminarily set allowable range, for the derived kind of design variables; and searching for values of design variables of the article, which satisfy a target characteristic value, by acquiring again characteristic values of a plurality of characteristics of the article produced on the basis of changed values of design variables while changing values of the plurality of design variables of the article. |
