PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To diversify the operation contents of a game machine in its game state to improve amusement provided by the game machine. Depending on a type of jackpot-hitting of prize-winning in a special symbol lottery, any of these plurality of game states different in their bases is applied to a game state in which probability variation following the end of a jackpot-hitting game is carried out but time reduction is not carried out. In a mode of application of each game state, transition is made from one game state to another game state different therefrom in its base during a game in a game state in which probability variation is carried out but time reduction is not carried out.
