PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an idling stop control system making it possible to swiftly resume driving as intended by a driver after an activity of an actuator for brake control is terminated.SOLUTION: An idling stop control system includes braking fore generation means, internal combustion engine starting means, braking force generation initiation decision means, initiation enabled area identification means, and control means that, if an internal combustion engine is being restarted at the time of initiating generation of a braking force, suspends internal combustion engine restarting and initiates generation of a braking force, that, when generation of a braking force is terminated, resumes restarting of the internal combustion engine, that, even when an internal combustion engine restarting condition is established, if it is determined that a braking force generation initiation enabled area is identified, does not execute internal combustion engine restarting, and that, when the internal combustion engine restarting condition is established, if it is determined that the braking force generation initiation enabled area is not identified, executes internal combustion engine restarting. |
