PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored resin composition capable of producing a red color filter which offers superior brightness, heat resistance, quality, and reliability, and to provide a color filter using the same.SOLUTION: A colored resin composition for color filters contains a xanthene compound represented by a formula (1) below (where each of Rthrough Rin the formula (1) independently represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having a carbon number of 1 to 12, and the alkyl group having a carbon number of 1 to 12 may have a halogen atom, a hydroxy group, an alkoxy group, an alkoxy-alkoxy group, or the like as a substituent group), a binder resin, an organic solvent, and a hardening agent as well as a photopolymerization initiator and/or hardening accelerator. |
