PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high voltage inverter device capable of obtaining high output AC high voltage continuously, stably, and safely.SOLUTION: A high voltage inverter device which makes excitation current flow in an excitation winding on the primary side of a transformer by switching input voltage and outputs voltage higher than the input voltage from an output winding on the secondary side of the transformer comprises a transformer unit 10 configured by a plurality of individual transformers T1 and T2 having the same characteristic. The plurality of transformers T1 and T2 have cores 11 and 12 having the same shape and independent closed magnetic circuits, respectively. All of the cores 11 and 12 of the respective transformers T1 and T2 are arranged so that parts of the cores 11 and 12 are adjacent to each other. A single common winding as an excitation winding Np of each of the transformers T1 and T2 is wound around the parts 11a and 12a adjacent to each other. Output windings Ns1 and Ns2 are individually wound around parts 11b and 12b which are not adjacent to each other of the respective cores.
