The present invention relates to a horizontal press and, more specifically, a horizontal press capable of remarkably improving forming quality and fundamentally preventing vibration from being generated in a punching operation as a slider is horizontally moved and a gravity center of a driving device is low. The horizontal press includes a frame having an accommodation space inside; a driving shaft which is installed in the frame and has a pinion; a flywheel installed on one side of the driving shaft; a main gear including an eccentric member; a vertically moving lifting rod; a link device connected to the upper side of the lifting rod; a slider moved by the link device; and a distance control unit. The frame is formed in a rectangular shape and includes a guide unit which is arranged on the frame in the forward and backward directions and guides the movements of the slider. |
