The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display which comprises: an insulating substrate; a micro-space layer formed on the insulating layer; a pixel electrode which is formed within the micro-space layer on the insulating layer and contains a domain partitioning means; a liquid crystal layer located within the micro-space layer; and a common electrode which is located on the liquid crystal layer and contains a domain partitioning means, and a method for manufacturing the same.
