The present invention relates to a trigger circuit which is necessary for electric power control and electric power facility protection and a switching device using the same, and more particularly, to the switching device which complexly has; a function which separates a fault point while protecting power electronic type switching device at short circuit by forming a power electronic type switching device trigger circuit capable of preventing the breakdown of a switching element when a short circuit accident of a load side circuit is generated including thermal withstand which is a weakness of the power electronic type switching device (triode AC switch, SCR, transistor for power etc.); a wiring breaker function which cuts over current; a breaker function having an earth leakage breaker function which cuts earth leakage current; a relay function capable of remote control. The purpose of the present invention is to have various compositions such as an earth leakage breaker having a function which is automatically restored according to type or character of load and is to provide the trigger circuit having the small and economical breaker function and the relay function and the switching device using the same by having trouble type display function for effective facility management of a manager.
