A mobile terminal and a menu display method thereof are provided to display or hide a menu screen on its background screen if necessary. A tag related to a specific menu display is indicated at a portion on a screen(S101-S103). A user touches the tag in a state that the tag is displayed. The user drags the tag in a certain direction(S104). The menu is displayed or hidden according to the direction(S105). The menu is displayed or hidden in a direction that the touch is released(S106, S107). |
