<p>The invention relates to a capstan comprising a base (20) and a head (21) mounted on the base (20) such that it can rotate in a single rotation direction. The capstan includes at least one gear train (700, 704, 703, 709, 707) and an input shaft (701) both housed in the base (714), the aforementioned head (706) being connected to the shaft (701) by means of said at least one gear train (700, 704, 703, 709, 707), and means for fully or partially, and immediately or gradually unblocking the rotation of the head (21) in the direction opposite the above-mentioned single rotation direction when the torque applied to the head in said opposite direction is above a pre-determined threshold. According to the invention, the unblocking means comprise means (712) for decoupling the shaft (701) from one of the gear trains, and said decoupling means (712) can assume two states, namely: a coupled state in which the rotation of the head (706) in the direction opposite that of the single rotation direction is blocked; and a decoupled state in which the rotation of the head (706) in the direction opposite the single rotation direction is unblocked, said decoupled state being assumed when the torque is above a threshold value.</p> |
