PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of performing moving image editing processing at a high speed.SOLUTION: An image processor comprises: reproduction means for reproducing a moving image file recorded in a recording medium in a file format for managing a file by using a file allocation table; and editing means for performing editing for deleting moving image belonging to a chapter of a deletion object of the moving image file reproduced by the reproduction means, and the reproduction means specifies a recording position on a recording medium of the moving image data corresponding to the chapter of the deletion object, and edits a file allocation table so as not to read at least a portion of the moving image data corresponding to a prescribed chapter.
