PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary mechanism which rotates a rotating body even if a load is applied thereto while inhibiting enlargement of the device.SOLUTION: A rotary mechanism includes: a stage 2; an annular holding member 3 which holds the stage 2; and three independent ball bushes 4 which are disposed between the stage 2 and the holding member 3. In the stage 2, a side surface serves as a support surface 22 supported by the ball bushes 4. In the holding member 3, a hollow part serves as a stage storage space 31 for storing the stage 2. Each ball bush 4 includes: a cylindrical part 41 formed into a cylindrical shape; a rod part 42 which is inserted into the cylindrical part 41 and linearly extends; and a ball bearing 43 disposed between the cylindrical part 41 and the rod part 42. Both end parts of the rod part 42 are fixed to the holding member 3, and the cylindrical part 41 is placed in contact with the support surface 22 of the stage 2. |
