The present invention discloses a user terminal device. The user terminal device connectable to an image forming device having a scanning function and operating with Window™8 OS comprises a storing part for storing a metro application for displaying a user interface window receiving a scan job command and V4 driver communicating with the image forming device; a user interface part for receiving the scan job command for the image forming device by suing the user interface window provided by the metro application when the metro application is driven; a communication interface part requesting the address information of the image forming device and receiving the address information of the image forming device by using the V4 driver; and a control part for controlling the communication interface part to transmit the scan job command to the image forming device and receive scan data corresponding to the scan job command based on the received address information.
