HORIZONTALITY CONDUCTOR CONNECTOR FOR LIGHTNING PROTECTION SYSTEM

An objective of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for coupling horizontal conductor of a lightning protection system, capable of easily installing and constructing the horizontal conductor of the lightning protection system installed at an upper portion of a building to receive a lightening stroke. The present invention includes a body having a space in which first and second horizontal conductors are inserted; a first coupling part installed in the body to press the body so that the first horizontal conductor is fixed to one side of the body; and a second coupling part installed in the body to press the body so that the second horizontal conductor is fixed to an opposite side of the body. The first and second coupling parts have the shape of a taper having a diameter reduced toward an end portion. According to the present invention, the horizontal conductor of the lightning protection system installed at the upper portion of the building to receive the lightening stroke can be easily installed and constructed. The contact area between the horizontal conductor and a coupling unit is increased, so that the electrical connection can be improved.
