PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ticket gate designed for cold regions capable of performing aging to prevent stiffening of conveyer belt.SOLUTION: The automatic ticket gate is configured so that, when the gate detects no user for a predetermined period of time and when a cold region switch is set to COLD REGION (cold region switch ON; Yes in S03), the gate enters into an aging mode (S07); and when no user is detected for a further predetermined period of time (S08, S09), an aging processing (S10) starts to turn OFF the power for doors 35a and 35b, a display screen of a guide display part 34, and person detection sensors disposed at a passage side of the automatic ticket gate while maintaining the power for the main power, a user detection sensor, and a conveyer motor in an ON state. When any user is detected during the aging processing (Yes in S11), the aging processing is terminated, and the automatic ticket gate enters into an ordinary operation status. When the cold region switch is set in OFF state, the gate performs a power saving processing (S05) in a power saving mode. |
