The present invention relates to a method for disabling an operation function by a key information comparison technique of a mobile terminal, and more specifically, to a method for turning off a function of the mobile terminal, which is currently operating, such as an alarm, by comparing a previously generated image or a previously determined location with an image generated or a location confirmed when it is required. The method for disabling a function comprises the following steps: determining a key comparison factor by determining key information required to stop an operating function; setting a predetermined function to be executed if it is a predetermined time is or a predetermined event occurs; moving to a previously stored location if the predetermined function is executed or capturing a contrasted image and inputting the image; extracting a contrasted comparison factor from the location or the contrasted image; comparing the contrast comparison factor with the key information to determine an identity level; and determine whether to disable the operating function according to the determined identity level. |
