PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a carbon nanotube sheet which is easily peeled from a substrate and capable of self-supporting by the mutual tangling of carbon nanotubes and mutual binding of the carbon nanotubes caused by a van der waals force, without using a resin, a binder or the like.SOLUTION: The method for producing a carbon nanotube sheet uses a carbon nanotube layer having a vertical orientation, and includes a carbon nanotube layer forming step of supplying oxygen 4 together with a raw material gas 3 when carbon nanotubes 2 are formed in a vertically oriented state on a substrate 1 by a chemical vapor deposition process, and a step of forming the carbon nanotube layer 5 into a film-shape by pressing a tip part of the carbon nanotube layer 5. |
