<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic document feeder.SOLUTION: A sheet taking device 20 is disposed on a feed channel upstream part for performing sheet taking or stopping according to a direction of drive torque received by the sheet taking device, and a sheet discharge device 30 is disposed on a feed channel downstream part for sending or forwarding a document according to a direction of the drive torque received by the sheet discharge device. A first drive gear 40 is disposed between the sheet taking device and the sheet discharge device and is driven by the drive motor 41, and a transmission roll swing arm 50 is pivotally provided coaxially to the first drive gear and is connected to the transmission gear set, and swings by the rotation direction of the first drive gear. A one-direction gear set 60 is driven by the drive motor and sends transmission torque in a same direction to a sheet sending roll. An actuator 70 is connected to the sheet discharge device and controls a position of a press roll 32 in the sheet discharge device, and a brake device 80 is disposed between the transmission roll swing arm and the sheet discharge device, and controls swinging of the transmission roll swing arm.</p> |
