<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire which, when great lateral force is applied to a tread portion of the tire, can prevent deformation of the tread portion in a radial direction.SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire comprises: a pair of bead cores 1; a carcass 2 that is formed by extending a main body portion 2a between the bead cores 1 in a toroidal shape and winding back each side portion 2b around the bead cores 1 outward in the radial direction; and a bead filler rubber 3 that is arranged adjacent to the outside in the radial direction of the bead core 1 and becomes gradually thinner towards outward in the radial direction. In a side portion of the tire is provided a rim guard 4 having a contour shape in the cross section including a tire meridian formed in a trapezoidal shape. A top 4a outside in the radial direction of two tops outside in the tire width direction of the rim guard 4 is arranged within 5 mm outside or inside in the radial direction relative to an outer end 3a in the radial direction of the bead filler rubber 3.</p> |
