PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing a sheet having a size unsuitable for conveyance from being fed, without wasting the sheet.SOLUTION: An MFP 100 detects the size of a document sheet by a document sheet sensor 26 and receives the input of a printing magnification on an operation panel 40. Further, it is determined whether or not the size of a to-be-printed sheet in a copying operation is a prescribed size predetermined as the size suitable for conveyance, on the basis of the size of the document sheet and the printing magnification. In other words, the size of the to-be-printed sheet is estimated from the size of the document sheet and the printing magnification and compared with the prescribed size in the MFP 100. When it is determined that the estimated size of the to-be-printed sheet is not the prescribed size, at least one of conveyance inhibition and warning is performed. |
