PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of improving comfortability by allowing a cold air flow blown from a diffuser to reach long during an indoor unit cooling operation.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes: an air intake port 11 taking in indoor air; an outlet port 12 blowing the air into a room; and a diffuser 5 attached to the outlet port 12; a heat exchanger 2 implementing heat exchange between the indoor air taken in from the intake port 11 and refrigerant; and a main blower fan 3 blowing the air subjected to heat exchange with the refrigerant by the heat exchanger 2 after the indoor air taken in from the outlet port 11 into a room. The air conditioner comprises: an intake portion taking in the indoor air separately from the air taken in from the intake port 11; a blow port 101 arranged closer to a back surface of a main body relative to the diffuser 5 and blowing the air into the room; and a sub blower fan taking in the indoor air from the intake portion and blowing the air into the room from the blow port 101. An air flow A blown from the blow port 101 into the room is blown into the room along a lower surface 52 of the diffuser 5.
