PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve detection accuracy on collisions of registration request signals received by a station side optical line termination (OLT) unit from a plurality of subscriber side optical network units (ONU).SOLUTION: The station side optical line termination unit, concerning registration request signals (REGISTER_REQ block: FEC code word of REGISTER_REQ frame) received from a plurality of subscriber side optical network units, detects a collision part where collisions are taken place with other registration request signals and a non-collision part where no collision is taken place with other registration request signals.
