A video transmission method and apparatus in the network communication technical field are disclosed. Separately by the steps of whether a video data package is lost, a video source type request sent by a user, a video data package type, whether a network reaches a congestion threshold and so on, the present invention judges whether to retransmit the video data. The present invention selectively retransmits the video data package for videos according to a video service type, the video data package type, and a network condition, reduces the network load, and maximally ensures the accuracy of the video data while ensuring the video playing fluency. |
