BAMBOO NODE-EMULATING TRANSMISSION TOWER MADE OF COMPOSITE MATERIAL

A bamboo node-emulating transmission tower made of composite material, suitable for power transmission lines below 110 kV, comprising a tower body and a transverse member vertically connected to one another, the transverse member comprising a ground wire support (7) at a top end of the tower body, and cross arms (17, 19) below the ground wire support (7). The tower body emulates bamboo nodes, with protruding portions similar to bamboo nodes distributed thereon, the tower body as a whole being bamboo shaped, and being formed by superimposing bamboo shaped composite material tubes (3). The bamboo shape increases the rigidity of the tower body, effectively reduces the impact of wind yaw and icing on the transmission tower, thereby improving the stability thereof in severe weather conditions.
