PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a display apparatus to stably display images photographed by plural photographing apparatuses without regard to variation in traffic amount.SOLUTION: A monitoring system S comprises: plural photographing apparatuses 1 for photographing subjects; and a display apparatus 2 for displaying the images of the subjects photographed by the photographing apparatuses 1. The display apparatus 2 comprises: a measurement unit 22 for measuring the traffic amount of the images transmitted from the photographing apparatuses; an image quality control unit 26 which controls the image quality of the images to be transmitted to the display apparatus 2 by the photographing apparatuses 1, on the basis of the traffic amount; and a display control unit 23 which controls the images transmitted from the photographing apparatuses 1 to be displayed on plural divided screens obtained by dividing a display screen. |
