The present application relates to a liquid crystal cell and to a use therefor. An illustrative liquid crystal cell can achieve a bistable mode with switching between a haze mode and a non-haze mode even at a low drive voltage. Such a liquid crystal cell can be used in various light modulating devices such as smart windows, window-protecting films, flexible display elements, 3D image display active retarders, or viewing angle adjusting films. |
